Chuba is an attire worn by the women of various communities in the Himalayan region, mainly the Sherpas, Bhutias, Tibetans, and so on. This dress is also called Chupa or Bakhu, depending on the region.
The chuba is frequently accompanied by a multicolor apron and a white scarf. The multicolor apron is worn only by married women, and the white scarf is worn usually on special ocassions and anniversaries.
